The water loss in the late stage of the lesions is marked by the depression of dark brown dry spots. Diseases and health are often cracked at the junction, the diseased skin tilts up and the skin is peeled off, and many small and dense uplifted black spots appear on the lesion surface. When the onset is severe, the bark tissue is dead, and finally it can rot to the xylem and the whole branch is dead.
The onset of the fruit first appeared brown dots on the sunny side of the upper canopy, expanded to become round or amorphous brown lesions, and gradually expanded into concentric lenticular lesions. In the appropriate conditions, the lesions spread rapidly and the entire fruit can be rotted within a few days. Late lesions can produce black spots.
2. Control methods
1 Strengthen cultivation and management, deepen the soil, increase organic fertilizer, timely irrigation and drainage, enhance the resistance of the trees, and minimize tree wounds.
2 Remove the dead branches on the trees and burn them together.
3 Scrape the affected skin, scrape it and apply it with a 50-percent dilution of 40% Formamide arsenic.
4 Before the end of autumn or early winter, or before the early spring buds, the whole tree was sprayed with 40% of the 100% dilution of Formamide Aspergillus for eradication of pathogens. The Bordeaux mixture and chlorothalonil are commonly used to prevent and control other diseases.
5 To prevent fruit from being infected, reference may be made to the prevention and treatment of apple ringworm disease.
