After transplanting peppers in greenhouses, due to suitable temperature and humidity conditions, root diseases, such as root rot, bacterial wilt and epidemic diseases, can easily occur, causing plants to die. Therefore, measures should be taken to prevent and control these root diseases as soon as possible.
First, the main illness
1. Root rot. Root rot usually occurs after the colonization of pepper until the fruit harvesting. The infected plants have wilting during the day and they recover from early evening to the early morning of the next day, causing the whole plant to die after repeated days. When the roots were observed, the cortex of the roots and rhizomes of the diseased plants showed brownish to brown rot, and they were easily peeled off.
2. Bacterial wilt. Bacterial wilt is a kind of bacterial disease. The symptom of seedling stage is not obvious. After colonization, it gradually withered from the base of the main root. The surface layer of the rhizome does not change color and the internal vascular bundle becomes brown.
3. Diseases. After infection, the roots and stems of the plants became water-stained. After they became dark brown, they quickly circled the stems for a week. The diseased part shrank slightly, causing the whole plant to wilt and die.
Second, control methods
1. Adhere to a reasonable rotation. It is advisable to use cruciferous crops and leguminous crops and onions and garlic as the top crops, and to avoid continuous cropping with solanaceous and melon crops in order to effectively block the source of the disease.
2. Strengthen the management of the shed. Do a good job in the ventilation of the shed, regulate the temperature and humidity in the shed to control the conditions of the disease; scientifically water, promote small water irrigation or drip irrigation under the membrane, avoid flooding; pay attention to the shallow cultivator and avoid soil Build up, but do not overdraw soil too early; fertilize mainly organic fertilizer, increase phosphorus and potassium fertilizers, promote the healthy growth of root leaves, and enhance plant resistance.
3. Pay attention to clean the garden. Keep abreast of the growing conditions of the peppers at any time. Once the diseased plants are found, they must be removed in time and brought out of the shed to be burned or buried deeply. The soil in the diseased holes should then be removed, lime water sprayed or pharmacy be used to disinfect the diseased points so as to control the spread of germs.
4. Do a good job of chemical control. For early detection and early prevention and control of root diseases, we must seize the prevention and treatment of drug use in the early stage of disease. General root rot can be used 50% carbendazim WP 600 times or 50% metalaxyl MnZn WP 600 times or Green Hunter II 500 times Irrigation, each time 0.5 kg per plant, 7 Irrigation once a day, for 3 to 4 times; for green bacterial wilt, 600 times green copper or 70% mancozeb 500 times or 75% chlorothalonil wettable powder 600 times, each time Plant 0.5 kg, 7 days, 1 time, 3 or 4 times in succession; epidemic can be used 50% metalaxyl MnZn WP 500 times or 72.2% Prec fluid 600 ~ 800 times Irrigation, each time 0.5 kg per plant, 7 days irrigation, 3 to 4 consecutive times. Note: The medicament should be used alternately to prevent drug resistance.
