Is the bear child at home sick? Amazon Echo new features KidsMD to help you

Since its release in 2015, Amazon Echo has become more and more useful, with Spotify support, home automation control, and calling Uber. Amazon's latest round of updates has once again boosted Alexa-based features, adding new skills from Boston Children's Hospital and HomeAdvisor to help you repair things in your home – leaking houses and sick children.

Boston Children's Hospital says its new KidsMD skills "can help parents determine if a child has symptoms such as fever, cough, headache, rash, vomiting, sore throat, diarrhea, collapse or asthma, so you don't need to call a doctor." Enable KidsMD on Alexa devices. You can also consult the dosage according to your child's weight and age. When you are busy with your baby, you don't have to free your hands to open Google search to know how many pills you have to eat.

Echo users can also use HomeAdvisor's new app to give them a hydroelectric repairman, carpenter or other professional technologist. Users need to provide a zip code and phone number, allowing the service provider to call them and book the door-to-door time. Both skills are now available on Amazon Echo and Echo Dot.
